3COM Update for HP Deskjet 995c Type: Update If you are using a 3Com/­HP Bluetooth Wireless PC Card you must update the 3Com Bluetooth Software.­ Please follow these steps: Download the 3COM update to a directory on your PC.­ Double-click the downloaded file.­ You will see: "Updating your 3COM Software,­ please wait.­.­" The update checks your system.­ You will now see one of the following: "You do not need to update.­ You have the latest version" or "Update successful.­ You must reboot your computer now" You will now need to reboot the laptop.­ Caution! Failure to reboot your laptop may cause communication errors between the laptop and the printer.­ If you experience problems with the 3COM PC Card installation or update and have an HP Omnibook,­ please contact Omnibook support.­ For other laptops,­ please contact 3COM support.­ 3Com/­HP Bluetooth wireless PC card installation procedure Follow this procedure to install a 3Com/­HP Bluetooth wireless PC card in a laptop: If you have already installed the 3Com Bluetooth wireless PC card,­ please skip to step 3.­ Install the 3Com PC card and the 3Com Bluetooth software using the instructions included with the PC card.­ Update the Bluetooth software.­ Visit HP's Support Website at http:/­/­www.­hp.­com/­go/­support,­ (if necessary,­ click choose your own language/­country),­ enter deskjet 995 in the quick find box,­ then press Enter.­ Caution! Failure to install the Bluetooth software update may cause communication errors between the laptop and the printer.­ Reboot the laptop after installation of the Bluetooth software update according to the instructions on the screen.­ After the laptop has restarted,­ install the HP Deskjet 995c series printer software.­ If you continue to encounter installation or printing problems,­ please visit HP's Support Website.­
